 l be food served at the end**\n\nSince the chapter's inception nearly five
  years ago\, XR Boston has seen powerful successes: our direct actions hav
 e raised awareness\, disrupted the powerful\, and spotlighted the climate 
 and ecological emergency. Crucially\, however\, our chapter is not yet the
  mass movement that it set out to become. To achieve the system change we 
 need\, we must grow from a small organization to a mass movement that can 
 mobilize tens of thousands into the streets and disrupt “business as usu
 al.”\n\nOur upcoming strategy session is dedicated to taking the learnin
 gs of the past five years and laying a pathway to more effectively buildin
 g a mass movement. We will think through: 1. Building a movement (in the b
 road sense) and 2. Planning for the maximum mobilization possible by Earth
  Day 2025 (a specific target and deadline).  \n\nAfter reviewing insights 
 and consensus from our last two strategy sessions\, the organizing team wi
 ll present a rough framework for building toward mass mobilization—a dra
 ft that we’ll collectively refine into a final proposal. In mid-January\
 , we’ll reconvene to create an implementation plan and take on next step
 s\, ensuring we have a concrete path to achieve our shared goals.\n\n* **P
 art 1:** Workshop a Proposal to Build towards Mass Mobilization (*Sunday D
 ecember 8th at 3 pm*)\n* **Part 2:** Finalize the Proposal and Create and 
 Implementation Plan (~second weekend of January)\n\nTogether\, we’ll con
 tinue to push toward XR’s guiding principle of mobilizing 3.5% of the po
 pulation to achieve system change. Bring your ideas\, your energy\, and yo
 ur commitment as we strategize and take the next step toward a resilient\,
  mobilized future.\n\nTo help ensure this session’s effectiveness\, we a
 sk that participants have attended at least one XR Boston protest or commu
 nity event in the past.
