 n\n### Background:\nEvery Labor Day Weekend the traffic heading into Cape 
 Cod brings the entrance to the Cape at Bourne Bridge to a halt. Thousands 
 of people in their cars sit in idling traffic heading to their vacation we
 ekend on one of the country's most vulnerable geographical areas to the ef
 fects of climate change. This is a great opportunity to get some outreach 
 to the thousands of people that have nothing else do while they idle but g
 ive us their attention. Let's give them some entertainment and alert them 
 to the fragility of the beach areas we know and love and want to protect. 
 It's a climate emergency: declare it and act like it. \n\n### Be a red reb
 el!\nThe need to share our Red Rebels' silent\, sad\, loving\, beseeching 
 message is increasingly urgent. This action will become more widely access
 ible with stunning cinematography\, directed by Jonathan P Schwartz (a con
 tributor to WGBH and PBS as producer and director). We are sending this in

 ortunities!\n\n### The action:\n9:30 AM: processing at Knob Beach in Woods
  Hole (optional additional start portion to the action. Mostly going to be
  a filming of the reds)\n12:30 PM: Standout at the Bourne Bridge\nFor park
 ing: it's best to park near the Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists building i
 n the back of the bridge. 11 Bourne Bridge Approach\, Buzzards Bay\, MA 02
 532. We will then walk up the path in the back towards the bridge and turn
  left on the side of the road. \n\nThe Red Rebels will be walking the leng
 th of the bridge and finishing a filming of their work. While they perform
  we will stand on the grassy side area of the bridge with signs and art an
 d visuals to alert people to the effects of the climate crisis on the frag
 ile cape. After a couple hours\, the Red Rebels will proceed to a local be
 ach where they will walk as we hand out flyers to beach goers.\n\n#### Wha
