  We are holding Sitting for Survival meditations in public spaces around C
 ambridge to bear witness to the climate emergency and in doing so\, strive
  to awaken others to see and take action.\n\n***We will be alternating loc
 ations every few months. In May and June:* **\n\n**Where:** Central Square
  Post office\, 770 Massachusetts Ave\, Cambridge\, MA\n\n**When:** Every o
 ther Sunday from 10:15am-11:00am\n10:15am-10:45am for Sitting Meditation\n
 10:45am-1100am Community building\n\nWe will sit distanced with signs that
  we will provide or you can bring your own. Please come masked! \n\n-----\
 n\nWho We Are:\n\nWe are spiritual practitioners dedicated to facing the c
 limate crisis with compassion and determination to engage in nonviolent di
 rect action. We see climate justice within the framework of social justice
  and commit to advocating for policies that empower communities most impac
 ted by climate change.\n\nWhat We Do:\n\nWe invoke our mindfulness practic
 e to hold the pain of this ecological and spiritual crisis. We bring silen
 t sitting and walking meditation to public spaces to raise awareness to th
 e devastating effects of our planetary emergency and the urgent need to ta
 ke personal and collective action.\n\nRecognizing the need for regeneratio
 n in this consuming effort\, we invite pauses to be in community\, to care
  for one another and nourish ourselves\, bringing the energy of love and u
