  better speak\, write\, and/or post about the climate crisis and about the
  climate activism movement!\n\nJoin us from 11 am through 3 pm on Saturday
  November 16 for XR Boston's Climate Communications Workshop! This worksho
 p is open to all members of the climate movement\, and we encourage folks 
 from other organizations to participate. We will provide a vegan lunch\, b
 ut feel free to bring a side dish to share (please label ingredients)!\n\n
 There are so many ways to communicate about the climate crisis and the eff
 ort to fight it. Between social media\, traditional journalism\, outward f
 acing language like newsletters and websites\, and internal language that 
 we use with other members of the movement\, every image and piece of langu
 age can be strategic. In this Climate Communications Workshop\, we’re go
 ing to crowdsource a toolbox of strategic communications techniques. Commu
 nications professionals from the climate movement will share the tips and 
 tricks they use\, we’ll share with each other what works for us\, and we
 'll talk through what challenges we’re experiencing.\n\nNo prior prepara
 tion is necessary. We encourage participants to bring a notebook to take n
 otes!
