 oing extinction of various animal species. We have created simple letter-s

 The posters aim to imitate simple posters that you would hang up if your p
 et bird flew away or  your cat escaped. Instead\, we mourn wild animals th
 at are going extinct or getting displaced.  \n\nThis “March Postering Ma
 dness”  event will be a virtual info session. We will provide more detai
 ls and help you getting started. Please let us know if you would like to o

 nds (Email outreach.xr at gmail.com.)\n\n**Some Background on the 6th Mass
  Extinction**\n\nThe report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Chan
 ge (IPCC) was published on February 28. The United Nations report is writt
 en by 270 researchers from 67 countries. The report lays out the devastati
 ng effects of the climate catastrophe on humanity and all life on Earth. \
 n\nGlobal temperatures have already increased by an average of 1.1 degrees
  Celsius (or 2 degrees Fahrenheit). Additional increase of temperature is 
 already locked in due to lagged effects. Beyond 1.5 degrees Celsius of war
 ming\, scientists predict a high likelihood of an irreversible spiral of c
 atastrophic climate impacts. \n\nThe report made clear that the climate cr
 isis is harming the planet faster than we can adapt. In fact\, the sixth m
 ass extinction is already happening right now. One-third of all plant and 
 animal species could be extinct by 2070\, which in turn has effects on res
 pective ecosystems. The IPCC report also points out increased pressure on 
 food production and access which is putting millions worldwide at increase
