 \nTo move safely and effectively through the streets\, all marches and pub
 lic roadway disruptions need good marshals. If you’re looking for a way 
 to step up your involvement at XR Boston's actions\, becoming a marshal is
  a great way to get started. \n\nIn preparation for our Earth Day 2024 ev
 ent we are hosting an in-person marshal training session at the Community 
 Church of Boston from 6-7:30pm. Food with vegan options will be provided. 
 We'll be going over how to safely move in and out of intersections\, how t
 o make quick decisions as a group\, and how to de-escalate tense situation
 s. This training will cover almost all of the basic knowledge you’ll nee
 d to marshal effectively at our public march at Earth Day 2024\, or at any
  event in the future.
