 -violent direct action training! This training is for people who are inter
 ested in potentially doing civil disobedience as well as people who want t
 o play support roles for our actions.\n\nYou will learn how to engage in n
 on-violent civil disobedience. We will cover some theory behind direct act
 ions\, discuss the logistics of arrest and potential legal implications\, 
 and talk about the many different roles (beyond risking arrest) that are c
 rucial to successful actions. You will get to talk to a few people who hav
 e gone through the arrest process and ask questions you might have.\n\nWe 
 recommend that you attend an XR Welcome Call before you attend our NVDA tr
 aining. We recommend this training because understanding more about XR's t
 heory of change and organizing principles will help you figure out how you
 'd like to be involved.
