  how to take part in XR actions at this non-violent direct action training
 ! This training is for people who are interested in potentially doing civi
 l disobedience as well as people who want to play support roles for our ac
 tions. You will learn how to engage in non-violent civil disobedience. \n\
 nWe will cover some theory behind direct actions\, discuss the logistics o
 f arrest and potential legal implications\, and talk about the many differ
 ent roles (beyond risking arrest) that are crucial to successful actions. 
 You will get to talk to a few people who have gone through the arrest proc
 ess and ask questions you might have. \n\nWe recommend that you attend an 
 XR Welcome Call before you attend our NVDA training. We recommend this tra
 ining because understanding more about XR's theory of change and organizin
 g principles will help you figure out how you'd like to be involved.\n\nTh
 is training will last two hours.
