 G)](https://nlgmass.org/) for XR members and friends.\n\nNLG Legal Observe
 rs (LOs) are present at protests and demonstrations\, and often serve as w
 itnesses at subsequent trials. They can also serve as deterrents to police
  misconduct. The very presence of a Legal Observer sends a signal to polic
 e and activists that events will be documented. Such documentation can and
  will be used in criminal and/or civil cases arising out of the demonstrat
