  intense environment: fellow protestors chanting\, passersby demanding ans
 wers\, possible police presence\, etc. It takes practice to keep a cool he
 ad and deliver the message of an organization to journalists amongst that 
 much disruption. However\, a solid spokesperson interview can make all the
  difference between press coverage that respects climate activists\, and p
 ress coverage that takes the side of the oppressors.\n\nYou can make that 
 difference. In this brief in-person training\, members of XR Boston's Medi
 a & Messaging working group will train you to serve as an action spokesper
 son\, securing and giving interviews with members of the press. We'll work
 shop XR Boston press talking points\, work with real press releases\, and 
 do practice interviews! The training will last from 2 pm to 4 pm.\n\nActio
 n spokesperson is a great role for you if you're a tenacious communicator 
 who loves to talk about climate justice and disrupting the status quo!
