Join Standing Trees Vermont for a free virtual showing of the documentary film “BURNED – Are Trees the New Coal?” BURNED tells the little-known story of the accelerating destruction of our forests for fuel, and probes the policy loopholes, huge subsidies, and blatant green washing of the burgeoning biomass electric power industry.

Lisa Merton, Co-Director, and Chris Hardee, Associate Producer, will participate in a question & answer session after the showing. They will provide insights into what they learned while developing and filming this movie and answer questions. The Q&A will be hosted by Rachel Smolker of Biofuelwatch.
