Davis Square Funeral March and Die-In

JOIN US for a FUNERAL MARCH and DIE-IN in Davis Square, Somerville on July 25th at 6pm. We will MARCH and DIE symbolically in homage to all the people and other species dying as a result of CLIMATE CHANGE, sing and chant to live music, make short speeches, and otherwise make it clear that we REFUSE to let the ELITE DESTROY OUR FUTURE in the name of CORPORATE PROFITS. We must TAKE TO THE STREETS to demand ACTION NOW.

Our planet is ON FIRE. Across the country, people are experiencing DEADLY FLOODING and RECORD HEAT WAVES while the Trump administration DISMANTLES already inadequate environmental protections, HARMING OUR CHILDREN. Locally our governor CANNOT FIND THE COURAGE to stand up to the private jet set class, car industry and gas executives to declare a moratorium on new fossil fuel projects.

We hope to have at least 50 people so BRING YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
