December Gathering and Storytelling Practice: Share a Dish, Share a Climate Story, Spread Hope

Wednesday, Dec 18

Join us for our December General Meeting, where we’ll explore and practice telling compelling climate stories. What encouraged you to do something about the climate crisis? What made you realize that the climate is in danger? What do you cherish and fear we are at risk of losing due to climate change? Together, we’ll learn how to shape these reflections into powerful stories and practice sharing them with each other.

This meeting is open to everyone! Feel free to join us anytime from 6–8 pm. Please contact Amanda at amandarb196@gmail.com with any questions.

What to Expect:

  • Food & Welcome: Settle in with good food and good company. Feel free to bring a dish (preferably vegan-friendly) to share as we gather potluck-style. If you have any dietary needs, please reach out. Sign up on this spreadsheet if you're bringing something!
  • Storytelling Workshop: Learn how to tell your unique story as a climate activist. Through exercises and practice sessions, you’ll build confidence and learn to communicate your message effectively—perfect for sharing with friends and family through the holidays.
  • Working Group Updates & Upcoming Events: Hear the latest updates from our working groups and learn how you can get involved in current projects and upcoming events.

Accessibility

We'll have someone at the door to let people in. There's an elevator to get upstairs if needed.
