Hanscom Trial Support for Brian!
On April 20 2024, 21 courageous rebels were arrested at Hanscom Field for protesting the proposed expansion of the private jet facilities. If this development is completed, it could cancel out 70% of all climate gains from solar photovoltaics in the state of Massachusetts. It's a devastating carbon bomb in the making. The arrestees have been put through a long process of court hearings and some of them are pushing through to an unprecedented series of trials for XR Boston.
The judge has decided to split up the trials so each individual defendant is tried alone. After a year in the legal process, the first trial is coming up! Our first defendant is XR Boston's own Brian!
Join us on Wednesday May 14 at the Concord District Courthouse to fill the courtroom with supporters! The trial starts at 9 am. We will sit together in the courtroom and bear witness to an exciting climate trial. We ask that everyone dress in professional attire and keep a respectful attitude. No signs or banners - This is a vigil, not a rally. Phone use is not allowed in the courtroom. The trial length is unknown, but feel free to leave when you need.
