Talk in the Park: Heading for Extinction
(and what to do about it)

Sunday, Sep 26

Moved to Sunday, Sep 26, due to thunderstorms on Friday!

We are in the midst of an unprecedented climate crisis and ecological breakdown that threatens the continuation of life as we know it: record heat waves, forest fires, mass extinction of species, to name just a few recent headlines.

Where do we fit in? How can and should we face these news? And what comes next?

Join us to hear about the latest climate and ecological science and what current plans mean for our future. And learn how to become part of a global movement of social transformation for a livable future!

The talk will be given outdoors in Perry Park, Somerville, with projected slides at dusk. Before and after the ~1 hour presentation there will be time for introductions and discussions, but you can also show up just for the talk.

6pm: Open socializing. We'll have some snacks. Bring some snack or dish to share, if you like.
7pm: Talk

Bring your own chair or blanket, water, questions, and friends!
