High Tide & High Time for Climate Action!

Wicked High Tides are already heavily affecting Boston. By 2050, waters are projected to rise by another 2 to 3 feet, putting tens of billions of dollars in living and working space at critical risk of flooding, particularly in the Seaport and Wharf Districts. Join XR Boston, Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere, Beyond Plastics, the SEIU Labor Union, and other climate and social justice organizations from 1 pm to 2:30 pm for a theatrical demonstration and party to educate the public on impending sea level rise and demand that our government take immediate action to stop this crisis before it's too late.

As "Ocean People" demonstrate the height of the coming water, we'll be joined by speakers from across the climate and labor movements, sharing information, opportunities for action, and stories of urgency and hope. We'll also sing original sea shanties together and dance in a choreographed dance party. It's High Tide and High Time for Climate Action!
