Seedbomb Walk with the Oceanwarriaz

Join us for a walk around the neighborhood to spread seedbombs with local native wildflowers. This event is a great opportunity to connect with fellow rebels, and explore your neighborhood from a new perspective, while making a positive impact on our community.

The Oceanwarriaz is an affinity group that is focused on environmental justice issues in East Boston, Chelsea, Everett and Revere. Examples are the continuous fight against air pollution, Logan airport expansion and the Eastie substation.

During the walk, we will be distributing seedbombs made from natural materials (clay, soil, and wildflower seeds). These seedbombs are designed to be easy to use and can be thrown into areas where we would like to see some greenery grow. The wildflower seeds will attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, helping to support local biodiversity.

We will provide the seedbombs and information on how to use them. We hope to see you there!
