MLKDay2025

[Solidarity] MLK Day of Service and Learning & Social

Monday, Jan 20

On January 20th at 2pm, the 15th Annual Cambridge MLK Day of Service and Learning is taking place.

You are warmly invited to join XR rebels and your Cambridge neighbors to lend your helping hands in a variety of hands-on projects to honor Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

We will gather at 1pm at Life Alive for a pre-event social (optional). Grab a bite or a beverage and look for us in the downstairs lounge area!

We will then proceed to the Welcome Gathering at Central Square Church at 2pm. Hands-on service and learning projects will take place from 2:30–5pm and include making blankets and scarves for people in need, sorting donations, and learning about racial justice and equity.

Come for the afternoon or just a short time. If you are able, please bring non-perishable food, gently used winter clothing, children’s books or new warm socks to donate.
