State House Stand-Out: CLIMATE LEGISLATION ACTION

Join the State House Stand-Out on Wednesday July 17th at 10a.m. to demand the state pass strong climate protection legislation.

We demand Massachusetts pass a strong climate bill that implements No New Fossil Fuel Infrastructure. The Senate passed a weak climate bill. Amendments that would have strengthened it were defeated by the do-too-little Senate. The Senate maintains the dangerous illusion that 2050 is a reasonable target date, rather than 2030 to reach real net zero. The House reportedly will take up a climate bill this week. It needs to be much stronger.

Join our ongoing Stand-Out at the Hooker entrance to the State House. We will also go inside, to Speaker Mariano’s office or the House chamber to chant, sing and demand a strong law.
