XR Boston and CDA EF Financial Discussion

Join members of XR Boston's fiscal sponsor, the Climate Direct Action Education Fund, Inc. (CDA EF), for a conversation about the relationship between XR Boston and CDA EF, how CDA EF can help fund your projects through microgrants and fundraising portals, and a recap of CDA EF’s revenue and expenses from Q1 and Q2 of 2025.

CDA EF was founded in July 2024 to sponsor and fund environmental groups in Massachusetts engaged in disruptive protest. The nonprofit received full 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status this spring. Three members of CDA EF’s board of directors will walk through the organization’s history, explain how fiscal sponsorship works, answer questions, and hear any feedback you have for us. This summer, we’re launching a joint XR Boston–CDA EF committee to collaborate on grant applications, project reimbursements, and staffing plans.

A recording of the meeting will be available for 60 days on Slack and through the emerging Spokescouncil structure.

This meeting for members of the XR Boston community and not the general public. We ask that participants have attended at least one XR Boston protest or community event in 2025.
