XR Movie Night: The Magnitude of All Things

Wednesday, Jul 19

Join us for a free screening of the powerful documentary, "The Magnitude of All Things," in a rented theater screen at the Capitol Theater in Arlington Square. It'll be screening room #6, to the right end of the cinema.

If you're planning on coming, please RSVP! It will help greatly with managing capacity of the screening room.

"A cinematic exploration of the emotional and psychological dimensions of climate change.

When Jennifer Abbott lost her sister to cancer, her sorrow opened her up to the profound gravity of climate breakdown, drawing intimate parallels between the experiences of grief—both personal and planetary. Stories from the frontlines of climate change merge with recollections from the filmmaker’s childhood on Ontario’s Georgian Bay. What do these stories have in common?

The answer, surprisingly, is everything."

Seating begins at 7:00, screening begins at 7:10, with a brief discussion to follow until 9:00.

We will offer snacks, and the Capitol Theater sells a variety of drinks (including alcoholic).
