December General Meeting

Join us for XR Boston's monthly chapter-wide community gathering! This is the place for new and old members to meet, mingle, and connect with our community.

It will be held in the Fellowship Hall, with signs directing you there.

We'll start with an hour of sharing food and socializing. If you're an active XR member, it's appreciated if you can bring a plant-based dish, snack, or drink to share (coordination spreadsheet here. If you're new, or that would be a barrier to participation, don't worry...bringing yourself is enough!

At 7:00, we'll circle up for introductions, a check-in, and a group activity. This week, we'll be practicing climate caroling. XR Boston has been doing climate caroling for many years...it's the most fun, festive way to spread awareness on the climate crisis. This year, we'll finally have a warm cozy indoor space to practice, before bringing our voices out into the streets! We'll also go over best practices to plan a climate caroling event with your Affinity Group, or just a handful of adventerous friends.

At 8:00, there will be an hour of time set aside for Working Groups or Affinity Groups to meet. Or, feel free to just stay and hang out!

Timeline

6:00 - 7:00 Arrive, socialize, eat!

7:00 - 8:00: Circle up, and climate caroling

8:00 - 9:00: Space for WGs/AGs to meet, or just hang out.
