XR Boston General Meeting

Join us for XR Boston's monthly chapter-wide community gathering! This is the place for new and old members to meet, mingle, and connect with our community.

This month we'll be having plant-based potluck, in-person Peacekeeping and De-Escalation Training, art making, and a book club!

Timeline

6:00 - 6:45: Arrive, socialize, eat! If you can bring a plant-based dish or snack to share, that's appreciated, but if that's a barrier to accessiblity, don't worry...the hosts will be making sure there's a bountiful spread.

6:45 - 7:00: Circle up for introductions and announcements.

7:00- 8:00: For those interested, there will be an in-person Peacekeeping and De-Escalation training. Or, join in on building art for our big action on October 30th.

8:00 - 9:00: Join follow XR members for a book club discussing "Facing the Climate Emergency" by Margaret Klein Salamon. XR Boston distributes free copies of this book, which you may be able to pick up at an event before this! This is also your chance to nominate and decide next month's book!

If you're a member of a Working Group or Affinity Group that would like space for an in-person meeting, you will be able to find time and space at some point here!
