XR Boston General Meeting June 2022

Hello Rebels! If you’d like to have the opportunity to learn a little about what XRBoston is working on at the moment, and meet people in your town just as passionate about climate change action as you are, you can join us at our next General Meeting! We’ll be convening at Boston Common at 6pm on Tuesday, June 21st (you’ll find us at the corner of Beacon and Charles St.) There will be free food (including vegan and gluten free options), games, activities, news, and a special yoga session hosted by the one and only @stevie_downie

Our primary activity will be Meet Your Neighbor! You’ll get a first taste of XR’s Self Organizing System. It’s a structure designed to highlight the benefits of non-hierarchical Organizations. You’ll break into groups based on location, to discuss amongst yourselves what you’d like to see your town look like in the future, and possible means for making those dreams a reality!

Whether you’re an old member looking to reintegrate with the rebellion after stepping back due to covid, new neighbors hoping to meet people nearby with similar interests and ambition, or anyone in between, we’d love to have you! We only ask that you RSVP so we can be sure we have enough food!
