Love the Planet Party & Standout

Saturday, Feb 22

Join us on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2pm for a Love the Planet Party! With so much malice directed towards our neighbors and the natural world, let's push past the hate that's out there and come together in LOVE. With love for the planet and love for fellow humans, we'll join together at The Embrace sculpture on Boston Common (across from 151 Tremont St). The Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King sculpture and its important reminder of the power of love and collective action will make for an inspiring backdrop.

Our Love the Planet Party will include love-themed photo frames, wearable candy hearts (with Earth-loving messages), and cupid wings for a few of us to wear for sharing our "Rebel for Life, Rebel for Love" message to passersby. There'll be music and each other's company to enjoy, and there's a good chance there'll be Love Songs for the Planet to sing as well. You are welcome to bring posters with your own messages of love too!

After an hour or so we'll head to a local restaurant(s) to continue to unite in love for the planet and fellow humans, and treat ourselves to tasty food and beverages!

Snow/rain date: Sun. Feb. 23
