"MASS Mobilization & Persuasion" | ORGANIZE EVERYWHERE! Workshop

Join organizers from Extinction Rebellion Boston for the second session of our new organizing workshop series!

XR Boston is holding weekly workshops every Sunday for the next four weeks as an educational component of our new outreach campaign "ORGANIZE EVERYWHERE!".

Over these four sessions, you will learn some essential movement-building strategies, persuasion techniques, social movement history, and organizing theory, with a focus on utilizing the tools & concepts covered to grow the climate justice movement in Massachusetts & worldwide.

Following on from "What Is An Organizer? (And Why You Already Are One!)", our second workshop will delve more deeply into the rhetorical aspects of organizing, including persuasion conversations, 'hard asks', "raising the stakes", and many other useful strategies that can be employed while doing outreach & growing your movement.

By the workshop's conclusion, you will be more comfortable talking with strangers than ever before (at least when it comes to talking with them about the climate crisis, that is...). It's not to be missed. As always, solidarity, love, & rage.
