New Member Orientation @ the General Meeting

This new member orientation will take place at the March general meeting. It will run from ~ 7:30 to 8:30. If you are coming just for orientation, the door may be locked, please call the number posted on the front door.

Extinction Rebellion groups across the globe are connected by shared demands and principles that guide our work together. The four demands strategically focus our actions and our ten principles provide a common framework for how we carry out those actions.

Our Orientation will introduce you to these fundamentals, explain how we organize, and discuss how you can become part of the movement.

If you are new to Extinction Rebellion or would just like to learn more about how it works, please join us!

We will cover the following:

What is XR? What is civil disobedience & direct action? What do we want? What are our principles and values? How are we organized? How you can get involved! The session will run for 1 hour.
