📣 Calling All Citizens of Earth!

Join us on Saturday, May 6th at 2:30pm at Boston City Hall to rally for a sustainable future and call on the city of Boston to endorse the international Plant Based Treaty.

At 2:30pm, we’ll convene outside Boston City Hall to chant and hear from a coalition of local activists, environmentalists, student leaders, and more. The goal is to bring attention to the first annual Vegan Climate March taking place the same day in cities around the world, while starting Boston's journey to endorse the Plant Based Treaty off with a bang.

Why a Plant Based Treaty? Because animal agriculture accounts for more greenhouse gas emissions than every mode of transportation on Earth combined. There is no way to achieve climate justice without addressing the cow in the room. The Plant Based Treaty aims to:

1. Halt the widespread degradation of critical ecosystems caused by animal agriculture

2. Promote a shift to more healthy, sustainable, plant-based diets

3. Actively reverse damage done to planetary functions, ecosystem services, and biodiversity

This is a key opportunity to make our collective voice heard, for the environment, the animals, and the future safety of us all – so let's get out there and make some noise! 📢

The event concludes at 3:30pm. Afterwards, attendees have the option to participate in additional activism hosted by the Boston Animal Activists.

No need to bring anything other than yourself, and weather-appropriate clothing. Do bring your friends!
